Ruth Broyde Sharone

Ruth Broyde Sharone is the creative force behind INTERFAITH: The Musical. She wrote the music and lyrics for all of the songs on Vol. 1 & Vol. 2.  Each song came to her during her daily meditative walks and was a “gift from above.”  Ruth is a popular public speaker / filmmaker / author / journalist who has been honored internationally for her passionate interfaith activism and leadership.  Ruth was a co-founder and served as Co-Chair of the Southern California Parliament of the World’s Religions (sccpwr.org) for 10 years.. She is the producer/director of God and Allah Need to Talk, a much- heralded film that has been screened across America and internationally.  She wrote the interfaith memoir, MINEFIELDS & MIRACLES, that received three literary awards and more than 30 testimonials from religious leaders around the world–including H.H. the Dalai Lama. Ruth is also a co-author of the 2018 best-selling Amazon book, 21st CENTURY VOICES: Women Who Influence, Inspire and Make a Difference. 

Kc Daugirdas, Music Director and Arranger of the INTERFAITH: The Musical CD, is an award-winning composer, orchestrator, and conductor based in east L.A and also directs two Lithuanian choral ensembles in Los Angeles. He created “The Singing Revolution,” a 5-movement choral cantata that traces the Lithuanian struggle for freedom from the USSR, which was premiered by the Song Festival chorus of 1,400 singers and symphonic band at the UIC Pavilion, conducted by the composer.  Kc holds degrees in Music Education from the University of Illinois and Film Scoring from Berklee College of Music. His credits include orchestrations for the film “Pokemon: I Choose You”, music for national commercials (Coke, Bud Light, Cricket Wireless). www.daugirdasmusic.com

Susan Macke Miller

Susan Macke Miller, a lead singer for INTERFAITH: The Musical, has toured with Donna Summer, the USO and sung on National commercials. She is also an actress, most recently seen in ‘Paper Towns’.  IMDB

Gene Miller

Gene Miller works in LA, New York and Nashville as a studio singer/musician and live performer. He has performed  live and in-studio with Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, Richard Marx, Paul McCartney, Peter Cetera, Phil Collins, Cher, Ray Charles, Amy Grant, Vince Gill, Barbara Mandrell, Dolly Parton, Donna Sommer, Randy Travis, Phil Keaggy, Steven Curtis Chapman, LeeAnn Womack, Michael Bolton and others. He has also performed on various movie soundtracks such as Lion King II: Simba’s Pride, Michael, St. Elmo’s Fire and Prince of Egypt and also on various national commercials.  He originated the role of Captain Billy Pierce for the Broadway musical, The Civil War, and performed on the accompanying soundtrack for that production.

Mike Stein

Mike Stein, an original cast member of JC Superstar and two other Broadway shows. A celebrated violinist, he has played fiddle for four presidents in the US Navy Band and has appeared many times on the Grand Ol’ Opry and the Nashville Now. Nominated for a Grammy award and a Grammy winner on “cELLAbration” (with Pete Seeger and Sweet Honey in the Rock), he also soared to Season 7 of The Voice. Mike won four WAMMY awards (Washington DC area music awards), a Parents’ Choice Award and a National Library Association award for children’s music and has played/recorded fiddle for artists Mary Chapin Carpenter, Eva Cassidy, Tom Paxton and Jonathan Edwards. He is the composer of a patriotic song “We Are With You,” part of the Greatest American Songbook (Hal Leonard). Currently serving as cantor at Temple Aliyah in LA, Mike also received the coveted Samuel Rosenbaum award for Scholarship and Creativity from the Cantors Assembly.

Quincy Coleman, singer-songwriter, is the founder of H-OM-E, a non-profit 501(c)(3) call to action for consciousness, healing, and unity through music, video, educational programming and events. Quincy is also a board member of the Southern California Committee for a Parliament of the World’s Religions (SCCPWR)

Erin C. Rye is a multi-faceted creative with an unyielding commitment to comedy, social justice, and being aggressively feminine. She’s worked across formats with the same goal: to make people laugh, gasp, and think about their choices. As an actor, you might have seen her on HBO’s VEEP and Hulu’s Dimension 404, as well as numerous webseries, shorts, and commercials. Her latest short film as writer, director, producer, and star, Lady Parts, was named Best Narrative Short at both Hollyshorts and Tallgrass Film Festival in 2019. She has also produced and directed multiple web shorts and music videos and was invited to the Writer’s Conference at the Austin Film Festival for her first television pilot script, plus she hosts and produces the weekly comedy podcast Erin and Aliee Hate Everything. www.erin-rye.com & @erintherye

Martynas Matutis

Martynas Matutis, born in Vilnius, Lithuania, is a classically trained tenor, countertenor, and composer. Recently, he participated with soprano Agne G in Suburban Chicago’s Got Talent and won Fan Favorite in the contest. He is currently working for the Dainava Lithuanian Ensemble as a soloist and assistant to the director, and works as a soloist for various Chicagoland churches and organizations. He has also worked as a composer and orchestrator for concerts and song festivals, and is excited for the release of his first soundtrack in 2021.

Stephanie Bell

Stephanie Bell, born in the South but now living in Los Angeles, has been singing gospel music since she was seven years old, in Baptist and Pentecostal churches, for schools and church groups.  She loves performing, acting and writing music. “This is what I was born to do for as long as I am alive.”

Avigayl Finley

Avigayil Finley was already performing solo in concerts while she was still in high school, wowing her audiences with her voice and personality.  She recently completed a year-long French course in Nice, France and is now serving in the Israeli army.

Jacob Kantor

Jacob Kantor, originally from Moscow, is the guitarist and one of the lead vocalists in the musical ensemble, Paris Chansons. He uses special looping and effects innovative pedals to create original renditions of favorites like “Et Si Tu N’existais Pas”  by Joe Dassin and others.   Jacob’s original songs, “Bamiyan” and “Voodoo” have been widely performed by the ensemble and have been reinvented into French by songwriter Zera Vaughan.   Julia and Jacob launched Paris Chansons four years ago.  www.parischansons.com

Julia Kantor is the producer of the singing ensemble, Paris Chansons, and one of the vocalists. Originally from the Ukraine, she lived and studied in France where she discovered in French music a soul connection that imbues her every performance. Together with her husband, Jacob, a Russian-born singer/songwriter, she has appeared in clubs and festivals in Los Angeles and in Arizona. They began singing together on their first date and have continued ever since, in French as well as Russian and English. www.parischansons.com

Liam Roberts

Liam Roberts is a talented singer/performer currently living in New York City. After graduating from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy Los Angeles in 2015, he  performed in various workshops and new musicals including Swan Lake the Musical, College Rhythm, The Freedom Machine, and more.  He is grateful to Ruth Broyde Sharone  for letting him “be a part of this beautiful and important new musical!”

Patrick Keensway

Patrick Keensway, a talented filmmaker, screenwriter and singer, confesses to have been in a rock band, “the screaming kind,” when he was growing up. He immediately recognized the value of INTERFAITH: The Musical and was eager to be on the Team.

Alyssa Rupert

Alyssa Rupert, an extremely versatile performer, trained in many singing and acting styles, is a graduate of the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (Los Angeles), with a BFA in Musical Theatre. Recent credits include: Skullduggery (Sacred Fools), The Spitfire Grill (Pierson Playhouse), Grease Live!, The Count of Monte Cristo (Montalbán Theatre), Urinetown! (Confidential MT Project), and more.

Juanita Parker-Scott

Juanita Parker-Scott is a multi-talented singer/musician who has performed on world stages. Her version of “Amazing Grace” is featured  in the Hall of Records as a rare rendition of that song. J Parker Scott Steppin In is the title of her most recent album. Juanita is the author of Come Soothe My Soul and she is also a motivational speaker and founder of several organizations for women’s empowerment.

Andre vanZijl

Andre vanZijl, commissioned to design the cover of INTERFAITH: The Musical, is an award-winning international artist with work in over 30 museums, including the South African National Gallery. Born in Zimbabwe,  Andre has exhibited globally, in Los Angeles, where he resides, and most recently at the Parliament of the World’s Religions in Salt Lake City.  He is Co-Director of All Paths Divinity School and a board-member of the Southern California Parliament of the World’s Religions. ANDRE VAN ZIJL | Drawings, Sculptures, Paintings, Poetry… All Paths Divinity School
